Our topic for the Autumn Term will be Explorers & Adventurers.

Reading: Children should read AT LEAST 4x a week (15mins each time). Their reading book should be chosen from the appropriate reading list for their year group. If preferred, the book can be listened to as an auidobook or read to them by someone else. In addition, children must complete one reading reflection activity per week and upload to their online portfolio on ClassDojo, each Monday.

TT Rockstars – 30 mins per week (at least 10x studio games per week and 10x garage games )

Spelling Shed – 30 mins per week (10x weekly list and 10x other practise)

Other homework projects relating to our topics will be set throughout the year.

Children may be given additional work to complete at home for example if they have not completed the necessary amount in class, or if they require additional practise to consolidate their learning. This will be fully explained via Dojo message to parents as necessary.

We will also be continuing to use Class Dojo as a means of communicating important messages between home and school, and to keep you updated with what is happening in class. Please ensure you are signed up to stay updated! If you have any problems with the app just pop in and speak to Mrs Reed, who will be happy to help. Children can use the app to upload homework directly to their portfolio, using the QR code provided.
